Go Sail Montana
Sail and paddle on Flathead Lake in Dayton, Montana. Enjoy steady breezes (8-15 knots) from May to September. Paddle in protected bays or all the way to Wild Horse Island State Park with our kayaks and paddleboards. Our fleet of monohull sailboats allows you to comfortably learn on and sail to Wild Horse or other nearby islands. Fun and adventure await!
Mo’s Fisch Charters
Experience Flathead fishing at its finest, located in Harbor Marina in Lakeside. We have six guides with 22 to 26 ft boats featuring enclosed cabs, heaters, and bathrooms. We offer 5-hour half-day trips and can accommodate up to six people per boat. We troll for lake trout on Flathead Lake and jig for Lake Superior whitefish. Our guests can take their fish to the Harbor Grill restaurant, just 30 feet away, and have it cooked for them! We also guide on other lakes at certain times of the year, like Lake Mary Ronan, where we fish for kokanee and perch.
Fly Fishing
Enjoy fly fishing in the pristine waters around Flathead Lake and its tributaries. Our very own Karie Helms, an expert fly-fishing guide for the Glacier area and surrounding rivers and lakes, will ensure you have an unforgettable fishing experience. Polson Bay Golf Course
Open to the public since 1938, this Flathead Valley favorite features twenty-seven breathtaking holes with spectacular lake and mountain views. It is the only golf course with fairways adjacent to the shores of Flathead Lake.

Located in Kalispell, Wheaton’s can set you up with all the gear for exploring The Flathead Valley. Enjoy a wide array of riding experiences such as mountain biking at Herron Park or the Foy’s to Blacktail Route, road biking on the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, or the Rails to Trails Bike Path. Glacier National Park
Known as the Crown of the Continent, Glacier National Park features the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road, which marks the Continental Divide at an elevation of over 6,000 feet. The park is home to numerous stunning lakes, including Lake McDonald, Avalanche Lake, St. Mary Lake, and Two Medicine Lake. There are also many waterfalls to explore, such as Virginia Falls, St. Mary Falls, Swiftcurrent Falls, and Running Eagle Falls. Glacier National Park is less than 90 minutes from the Lodge and Resort at Lake Mary Ronan.
National Bison Range
Located on the Flathead Indian Reservation, the National Bison Range is a wildlife conservation area 60 miles south of the Lodge on Hwy 93. This area consists of 19,000 acres of natural grassland, home to about 500 American bison and other wildlife such as birds, whitetail and mule deer, elk, and bighorn sheep. This is a beautiful two-hour drive through the range.
Flathead National Forest
Adjacent to Glacier National Park, Flathead National Forest runs along the west side of the Continental Divide and covers over 2.4 million acres, including 1 million acres of designated wilderness. This area contains the 15,000-acre Jewel Basin Hiking Area, Great Bear, Mission Mountain, and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. Other points of interest include the Hungry Horse Dam, Whitefish Mountain Resort, and the Chinese Wall.
