At the historic Lodge & Resort at Lake Mary Ronan, we are dedicated to providing an unforgettable escape where guests can connect with nature, experience exceptional hospitality, and enjoy the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Nestled on 20 scenic acres, our resort features eight cozy cabins, seven RV sites, a full-service restaurant and bar, a coffee house, a marina and gym. With rental boats, pickleball courts, a kids’ rec room, shuffleboard, and more, there’s never a dull moment. We’re open May through September, and we’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our team and elevate our dining experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations (front and back of house).
- Collaborate with the chef to create mouth-watering menus and control food/labor costs.
- Manage reservations and flow to keep things running smoothly.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff on customer service, POS, and safety practices.
- Schedule staff shifts and fill in where needed (yes, sometimes you’ll sling drinks or wash dishes!).
- Collaborate with the bartender to create fun, seasonal drink specials and maintain the wine list.
- Ensure monthly inventory for food and bar are completed.
- Plan and execute special events which includes coordinating with the customer, chef and bartender, developing pricing strategies and executing the plan.
- Work with our coffeehouse to ensure seamless service for food items.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience.
- Proven leadership and stellar customer service skills.
- Knowledge of F & B with a knack for remembering details, including understanding how food service, menu creation, and beverage management work.
- Familiarity with restaurant software (bonus points for Cake/Cake Guest Management).
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Safe Serve and Management certifications required.
