Vintage Seaplane Invasion
Get ready for a truly unforgettable event at the Lodge! On Saturday, July 12, 2025, a fleet of beautifully restored vintage seaplanes will land on the shores of Lake Mary Ronan for our Vintage Seaplane Invasion.
Among the stars of the show will be the Grumman G-44 Widgeon—a classic, twin-engine amphibious aircraft originally used by the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Army Air Forces. These historic planes, including the Grumman Goose, Mallard, and Fenwick, will be flown in by a remarkable group of retired veterans and commercial pilots.
Craig Barton will be on his piano to entertain us all!
Spectators are welcome to join us for this spectacular sight and enjoy lunch starting at 11:30 AM at the Restaurant and Mary’s Coffeehouse will be serving up burgers and hot dogs. It’s a rare opportunity to witness these iconic aircraft up close in a stunning lakeside setting.
