Job Description:
We are looking for a professional Prep Cook to assist our kitchen team in preparing food to our restaurant’s specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist Line Cooks and Head Chef in food preparation
- Clean and organize the kitchen
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a prep cook or line cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiarity with industry’s best practices
Salary:
$14.00 $16.00 per hour
